52 City Walks: My Story, My Journey

My motivation for creating 52 City Walks is deeply personal and driven by resilience and hope.

As someone living with disabilities caused by a devastating accident involving a drunk driver, I face major challenges every day — from debilitating back injuries to peripheral artery disease and heart complications. Yet, walking remains absolutely essential to my physical and emotional well-being.

The name “52 City Walks” started as a simple goal: to take at least one walk per week and share it with the world. This YouTube channel is my motivation to get out of the house regularly, to overcome pain, and to experience the beauty and peace of the world around me.

Many of these walks are filmed in vibrant neighborhoods of Central Florida at night. You’ll notice sometimes I pause or need to sit down, not to stretch out the video, but because the pain can become overwhelming. I have stopped using strong painkillers prescribed by doctors because they did more harm than good. Instead, I occasionally use medical marijuana to help manage pain, stress, and anxiety.

These videos are not just walks. They are a testament to perseverance, a glimpse into the world through my eyes, and a way to connect with kind souls who appreciate simple, peaceful exploration.
